What do we do first?

What do we need to bring?
All you need is your marriage license and your wedding party. We’ll handle the paperwork once you arrive.
Where do we get our marriage license?
Follow the following link to find your best option.
Apply for a Marriage License – Government of Nova Scotia
You will need: signed piece of government-issued identification and proof of age for both people getting married (identification can’t be expired) proof of divorce if either person getting married is divorced (original Certificate of Divorce or Decree Absolute), along with the affidavit proof of death if either person getting married is widowed.
If your are from out-of-province you will need a Nova scotia marriage license. Contact access nova scotia for instructions.
The fee is $132.70
Who can marry us?
Wendy Robinson is the Justice of the Peace who will be preforming your ceremony. However, if you wish to have someone else, please feel free to ask. If you wish to have a special person do it, Wendy can assist with the legal bits. How special that would be?
What about flowers?
We can arrange fresh bouquets or faux flowers in your preferred color. Please note that prices will vary depending on the type of flowers selected.
How do we pay for our wedding?
We require a $150 processing fee to hold a date for 1 week. After the week, to secure your preferred date and time, we require a 50% deposit 1 week after holding the date, with the remaining 50% due 24 hours before your big day. After booking, you will be directed how to pay.
Can I make changes to my wedding date?
Certainly! As long as you provide 14 days’ notice, you can modify your wedding date at no additional charge, as long as your preferred time is available.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please note that the deposit fee is nonrefundable.
However, we understand that plans can change, and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs by arranging an alternative time. Full refunds are made on a case to case basis.
Can we bring a couple extra guests?
The packages specify a clear number of guests, and we are unable to accommodate any additional guests beyond that number. No exceptions. children count as guests if they are not babes-in-arms.

We love for your wedding to be unique and will work with you to ensure the little extras that make a difference are available to you. Please contact us to discuss your vision and pricing fees.
